POOL & PARK RULES​
-
Lifeguard on duty has the authority to warn and if necessary, expel anyone refusing to comply with park rules.

All children five years of age and under must be accompanied to the main pool by parent.

All children in baby pool must be supervised by parent.
-
During break, the only people permitted in the pool are lifeguards, adults 18 and over, and parents with their non-swimming children-five years and under, provided that they are no farther than arms-length from parents.

All members must sign in at the gate area.

Guest must register when entering the pool and the daily cost per guest is $5. The cost of any property damage or expense incurred through violation of the rules by a member’s guest will be charged to that member.

All trash should be placed in trash cans provided.

Parker Peace Park is not responsible for valuables.
-
All articles deemed hazardous by the manager or lifeguards must be removed from pool area.

No drinks allowed in Pool; no glass of any kind allowed in Pool area.
-
Profanity will not be tolerated at Parker Peace Pool & Park.

No pets allowed in Pool area unless otherwise stated.
-
Children under the age of nine (9) may not be left at the facilities unattended by parents or guardians.

Any member witnessing rules infractions should notify pool manager, Head Lifeguard or board member.

No running, skipping, pushing, or fighting in the pool area.
-
No swimming unless lifeguard or pool attendant is on duty.
-
No diving into the pool except at the designated diving areas.

Only one person at a time is allowed on the diving board.

No dunking others in the pool.
-
No sitting or standing on the shoulders of others in the pool.
-
No horseplay or dangerous games (as determined by lifeguards).

BABY POOL
-
No lifeguard is on duty at the baby pool.
-
Parents must watch their children in the baby pool at all times. Parents are responsible for the safety of their children while in the baby pool area.

Only children five (5) years old and younger may use the baby pool.
-
Swim diapers should be worn by children that are not potty trained.
THE DIVING WELL
-
​The diving board takes priority of the deep end when it is in use.
-
No swimmers are allowed in the deep end while the diving board is in use.
-
One (1) swimmer at a time on the diving board.
-
No hanging or sitting on the diving board.
-
A diver shall not go until the previous diver has reached the ladder.
-
No one is permitted to hang on the diving well rope.
-
Games are allowed only with the lifeguard’s permission when the diving board is not in use.
-
No games allowed that break any pool rules or cause overcrowding in the deep end.
DISCIPLINE

Lifeguards have complete authority over conduct and safety at the facilities.
Violations of pool rules shall have at a minimum, the following discipline:

a) 1st Offense – Violator shall be given a verbal warning by lifeguard.
b) 2nd Offense – Violator shall sit out next to the lifeguard for a designated amount of time given by the lifeguard in action.
c) 3rd Offense – Violator shall be sent home with notification to their parents and/or guardian. Swimmers sent home will have their actions documented.
​​2. Persistent behavior problems shall be brought to the attention of the Board of Directors which may take further action, including expulsion from the Facilities.
